Directing
Training in visual storytelling, actor direction, scene work, and creative leadership.
A hands-on filmmaking workshop where idea becomes short film — 8 weeks, 48 hours, one production.
Hands-on training for emerging storytellers to develop their craft and build creative portfolios.
Canada Scenario Studio was created by a group of artists who believe that filmmaking is a skill that can be learned through practice, not only a talent people are born with. At the beginning of our own journeys, we were often lost. As writers, directors, cinematographers, editors, and visual storytellers, we made mistakes, learned by doing, and slowly built the tools we needed.
Now, we want to share that experience with others through a practical, hands-on workshop where participants learn by writing, shooting, directing, lighting, editing, and working together toward a completed short film. We believe filmmaking becomes real when people practice it together.

Learn by creating.
Work with others.
Finish with a short film.
